Visa Application
· Attendees from most countries will be required to obtain a visa to enter the People's Republic of China; Attendees can apply for a Chinese visa through a travel agency or directly at the nearest Chinese embassy. · If attendees apply for a tourist visa, which will allow you to attend the conference and sight-seeing, an official visa invitation letter will not be needed from SFSC 2016. No visa is required for ordinary passport holders from Singapore, Brunei and Japan to visit China for up to 15 days for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends or transit. · Once you have paid for the SFSC 2016 conference registration, we will issue you an official invitation letter with DUT seal to assist you to obtain a visa to China IF YOU NEED. In this case, please supply the following information at your earliest convenience and write your email entitled "Require invitation letter for SFSC 2016". Personal details: 1. Your nationality 2. Full Name (exactly as in your passport); 3. Gender; 4.Institution; 5. Position; 6. Major; 7. Passport number; 8. Address; 9. First day of entry and duration 10. Expenditure source Copy of passport (first page) State the Country where you apply your visa (If you hold nationality A, but want to apply a Chinese visa in country B. Please provide a certificate of permanent residence in country B) (copy or electronic file) The accompany should also provide the information and files stated above. You can use the letter to get a visa in the nearest Chinese Embassy/Consulate. · The invitation letter will state the conference name, the duration of the conference, your detailed correspondence that will be extracted from your enquiry. · If you need the invitation letter for visa application, please send contact Ms. Duan via sfsc@dlut.edu.cn. Please note that due to the large expected number of enquires, we can only reply to visa application queries AFTER you have registered for SFSC 2016.
